Of all the cities in the world, there is none that compares to Jerusalem. Millennia of history, suffused with an aura of holiness, meet the vigorous modern capital of the state of Israel, sacred sites side by side with bustling bazaars, quiet, winding alleys tucked away between boulevards teeming with tourists. Jerusalem is easy to fall in love with; you don’t need a tour guide for that. If you let Jerusalem draw you in and carry you along, you’re bound to have a tremendous experience. Nevertheless, if you want to get to know the town more deeply, its history, its residents, and its finest restaurants – you definitely need to go on some guided tours in Jerusalem. Tours that fit your group and its needs.
That’s where I come in. My name is Yishay Shavit and I love Jerusalem; I love the people living here, the Old City, and the new, the Mah'ne Yehuda market and the Bad Cookery market, in short – there’s no place like this city. As a tour guide specializing in guiding tours in Jerusalem, I try to infect the groups and individuals I guide with this love.
