At the end of the desert there is an amazing place – This place, Herodium, would be the best spot we could choose in order to read the book Antiquities of the Jews.
Is it a man made hill? A grave? A gorgeous citadel? The Herodium is all of the above.
This tour will lead us with the help of Josephus’s books to the mountain that can be seen from Jerusalem. There we will visit an underground water system, the site where King Herod’s grave was revealed lately and a great observing point watching to the Judean desert.
